The Rose Hotel, the warm and welcoming four-star family run hotel in the heart of Tralee town, has once again been recognised for its high standards of excellence, having recently received the Service Excellence Business Award from Fáilte Ireland.

Highly regarded in the hospitality industry, the Fáilte Ireland Service Excellence Programme encourages the optimisation of individual and collective operational capability, leading to improved profitability for hotels and businesses around the country.

The Accredited Service Excellence Programme is suitable for all management and front of house staff in a tourism related business. The award can be achieved in three ways; individually, upon completion by members of a full day or online workshop; as a business, where 75% of front of house staff complete the programme or through the Destination Awards, where a certain number of set criteria in alliance with other key local businesses are met.

Mark Sullivan, General Manager of The Rose Hotel added, “We are delighted to have received this accreditation and hope to continue working with Fáilte Ireland on programmes like this in the future, ensuring the staff at The Rose Hotel offer the best possible service to our very valuable customers.’’

Ideally located in the heart of Kerry, The Rose Hotel is the ideal base from which to explore the kingdom’s exquisite scenery, from local Blue Flag beaches on the Wild Atlantic Way to the Dingle Peninsula, the Ring of Kerry and Tralee town itself.
