Taste Kerry hosted the Kerry Food and Drink Experience at the Rose Hotel with food producers from all over the county in attendance. Stalls lined the room, allowing people to taste the different food and drink available, while a number of representatives across the county, who personify everything that is Kerry Food and Drink, gathered on the day to receive plaques cementing their position as ‘Food Ambassadors’ for the county.
There was a wide and varied selection of local Kerry produce on offer with speakers from Kerry County Council describing how the Kerry Food and Drink Experience is an important element of the overall Tourism Strategy for the county .
