The Rock Street/Caherslee Community Games Swimming Team had a very successful outing at the recent Kerry Community Games Swimming Finals in Tralee Sports & Leisure Centre. Rock St/Caherslee was successful in the following events:
Girls U14 Freestyle 1st Kim McTigue, 2nd Rachel Barry…Girls U16 Freestyle
1st Grace Reidy… Girls U16 Butterfly, 1st Alex Perez
Girls U16 IM Relay, 1st Rock St/Caherslee (Lia McLysaght, Kim McTigue, Alex Perez, Grace Reidy)
The winners in the Kerry Finals now go forward to represent Kerry and their community in the National Community Games Swimming Finals in the University of Limerick on the weekend of 25th & 26th May.
Jim Garvey of Garvey’s Supervalu generously sponsored t-shirts for the team and we would like to acknowledge and thank him for his generous support.
