Kerry’s premier monthly lifestyle magazine, Connect Kerry has just delivered not one, not two, but 12 Apple Ipads to Blennerville National School as a result of their ‘Support your Local School’ initiative. Complete with storage cases and wireless keyboards these iPads will make a huge difference to the school.
Principal of the school Robbie O Connell says
‘Blennerville NS were very fortunate to be Connect Kerry’s school for 2019. We won a competitive online poll and were thrilled to do so. We are extremely grateful to Connect Kerry and Margaret Kissane for the iPads we received today. These iPads will go a long way towards helping us to fulfil our digital learning strategy and each and every child will get an opportunity to engage with an iPad in a fun and educational way. iPads are an excellent resource to compliment work and to reinforce work done in class.

Margaret Kissane, Publisher and Editor and publisher, Connect Magazine
‘ ‘For many years now we have always supported local with our events here in Connect and we are proud to say we have raised lots of funding for many charities over the years, however our new ‘Support your Local School’ initiative has been well received over the past two years, it enables us to give something back to that area of our community, Its imperative that in an era of technology kids will learn to use and understand this technology properly to take them safely into their teenage years.
We are already in the process of choosing the school that will benefit from the next school years fundraising activities, our 5 finalists will be announced Monday November 11th and the public can vote for their favorite with the winning school being announced on Friday November 15th. We thank all those who support our events by attending and providing spot prizes as these are the people that we couldn’t not do all this without.
