The 50 kilometre cycle takes place on Saturday May 5th and will see cyclists make their way from Tralee through Farranfore and on to Castleisland before looping back into the county capital.

The event will start and finish at O’Donnell’s Bar in Mounthawk.

Registration for the cycle will take place at O’Donnells from 9.15am to 10.15am that morning with a minimum entry fee of €40. The cycle is due to get underway at 10.30am.

All funds raised form the event will go directly to support the Fenit Lifeboat service. Lifeboat t-shirts will be presented to all participants and O’Donnells will provide refreshments after the cycle.

Fenit RNLI volunteer crew members are committed to saving lives at sea and very much appreciate the generosity of the public”. You can help by taking part or by sponsoring one of the cyclists or making a contribution on the day which is very much appreciated,” said Fenit Lifeboat Fundraising Manager Mike O’Connor.
