Tralee Credit Union is pleased to welcome the appointment of Pa Laide as their new CEO. A native of Tralee and well known former Kerry footballer Pa has over 27 years’ experience working in financial services with AIB Bank and has held various positions in management and business development. Speaking to Tralee Credit Union’s Chairman, Tom Lawlor “we are delighted to welcome Pa to Tralee Credit Union. Our core mission is to enhance benefit and choice for our members through the range of financial services we offer, whilst continuing to lead and promote best practice in everything we do. With Pa’s strong track record and extensive wealth of knowledge and experience we look forward to working with Pa and our team to provide direction and leadership towards achieving this mission. We wish Pa every success as CEO.”
Having completed his first week in his new role Pa said “I’m delighted to return to Kerry working with Tralee Credit Union. I’m really looking forward to the challenge and developing the role with such a great team of professionals at board, management and staff level. I feel privileged to be working with such a strong credit union as Tralee Credit Union.
Pa said “Credit Unions are different from other financial institutions, not just because they are not for profit, but because they are embedded within the community. It’s not a coincidence that credit unions topped the customer experience poll for a third consecutive year last week, members are their key focus, they put their members at the heart of everything they do. As decisions are made locally, credit unions have the flexibility to provide services that are tailored to the individual needs of members.
