The Rose Hotel embraced their American heritage this Saturday to celebrate the 4th of July to mark Independence Day. Festivities began at 11am with a raising of the American flag ceremony by US Military Veterans with Mark Sullivan, General Manager. From 1pm-3pm there was live music from The Rose Hotel float as you arrive for lunch.

The 4th of July menu included some delicious food in honour of the day, Executive Chef Odran Lucey’s menu that definitely tantalised and tickled your taste buds. Customers enjoyed finger licking Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Waffles with Maple Glaze, or mouth-watering Beef Brisket Tacos served with chunky Tomato Salsa & Avocado, or something a little healthier Citrus Glazed Shrimp Skewers with Peach Salad. Of course any American themed meal would not be complete without a traditional Mississippi Mud Pie with generous helpings of Chocolate Sauce and Ice Cream. The menu ran in Dott’s Bar, The Rose Hotel’s own slice of Manhattan chic on Saturday. Dott’s Bar is ideal for a casual dining experience serving delicious food.
