THE 60th Year Celebrations of the Rose of Tralee International Festival have received a springtime boost with the confirmation that the multi¬-award winning salon group Sean Taaffe Hair & Beauty will be the Official Hair Partner to the event again in 2019.
This year’s flagship event on the Irish Festivals calendar will take place a week later than previous years running from Friday 23rd to Tuesday 27th August.
Sean Taaffe will style the 32 Roses hair and apply the make-up for their appearances on TV in the Dome and for the social event of the year in Munster, the International Rose Ball. The Communications Manager for Rose of Tralee International Festival, John Drummey, said: “Sean Taaffe came on board as our Official Hair Partner in 2016 and since then millions of TV viewers have seen the skill and expertise of his team has brought to the event. The announcement of Sean Taaffe’s continued partnership with the Rose of Tralee International Festival has coincided with the news that the Killarney salon is set to double in size increasing the salon’s seating capacity from 25 to 43.
