The National Circus Festival of Ireland (NCFI) returns to Tralee from November 1st to 4th, bringing four days of thrilling performances, workshops, and events. Now in its 24th year, the festival showcases top-tier circus talent from Ireland and around the world, with artists from Canada, Argentina, Italy, Spain, France, and more set to amaze audiences. Festival Director Con Horgan emphasizes the festival’s inclusive mission: “Circus connects people beyond language and challenges preconceptions. We aim to create joyful, life-affirming experiences open to everyone.”
Highlights include:

Parade & Fireworks: Enjoy a spectacular parade and fireworks display in collaboration with the Kerry Homecoming Festival on November 1st in Tralee’s Denny Street.
Children’s Workshops: Kids can try juggling, plate-spinning, hula hooping, and more in these fun circus workshops.
Circus Siamsa Variety Show: A must-see event featuring international stars performing acrobatics, juggling, and the Irish premiere of RicceMeticce—a gravity-defying hair-hanging act by Italian artists Samanta Fois and Chiara Bagni.
The Whistle II: This interactive performance blends juggling, dance, and music, allowing the audience to shape their own experience.
Conventions & Workshops: Over 45 workshops in juggling, aerial, and acrobatics will be held at various Tralee venues.

Additional events include Film Night on October 31st, featuring the German silent horror classic The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, and Future Producers Industry Day for aspiring arts producers.
