The finalists have been announced for this year’s Energia Family Business Awards. The ceremony which is the first of its kind in Ireland, celebrates successful generations of families who work together.
The Energia Family Business Awards take place on the 24th May 2019 in the Round Room of the Mansion House, Dublin.
Landers Outdoor World, an iconic family business based in Tralee where it was founded 35 years ago by Tim and Liz Landers, have been selected as one of the finalists, in both the “Best Small Family Business of the Year” and “Best in Customer Service” categories.Commenting on the announcement, Manager of Landers, Emma Landers, explained what the awards means to the Tralee family run business. “To be shortlisted for both the Best Small Family Business and Customer Service categories means so much to our family and team here at the store. We have always focussed on delivering a first class and personal service whilst striving to uphold the values and approach that my parents started the business with back in 1984, in that small shop in Court House lane.”“Moving to the larger store in Mile Height near Manor West in 2005 took the business to a completly new level, and I’m proud we were able to step up to a level where we are Ireland’s leading Outdoor retailer, whilst maintaining those family values, excellent customer service and a simple smile for all our loyal customers.”
The Energia Family Business Awards will acknowledge the efforts of family run businesses in reshaping the business landscape.
